Greasy Squeegee - Live At Winters11/02/2010 11/11. Mark your calendars. My rock outfit gets crazy opening for Karmic Trigger at Winter's in Pacifica. Bring a poncho. Boo10/31/2010 The Giants are in the World Series, my clutch went up in a cloud of smoke, had a couple of good auditions this week. Finishing off with family visits and pumpkins. Go Giants!10/19/2010 Eli blogging about sports. Has the world ended? No, but he does live in San Francisco, and this town is on fire right now. Unbelievable Show!10/14/2010 Caught Patti Smith and Elvis Costello at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in the park, took a trip to celebrate a family birthday, and came home to shoot an industrial as an investment banker who is extremely happy with his enterprise software solution. Came home from the shoot, took a shower, and went to see Robin Williams live at the Berkely Rep. One of a series of three benefit shows for local causes. I have NEVER laughed so hard or so continuously. I thought I was going to have health issues. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Crickets-ish09/29/2010 And...thud. September lands like an unneeded phone book on a web-denizen's porch. Couple auditions, some good mixing sessions in the studio, but not so much going on. Really enjoyed one of the auditions in particular, and the opportunity to get some non-acting things accomplished. It's nice to have a life. 'Nominated' Screening08/27/2010 Headed out to Castro Valley for the first cast and crew screening of Dan Pavlik's comedy feature, 'Nominated.' I appear briefly as Keith, a townie paintball enthusiast. Super fun to see the final product and catch up with the cast. Tracking08/25/2010 Getting LOTS of tracking done at the studio. It may be forever before we release any of this, but it's just great to be making progress! Busy Weeks08/16/2010 Goofing like zoo animals, more auditions involving 'devices', some VO action, performed a scene from 'The Crucible' in a class, and continued on mixing some recordings from earlier in the year. Oh, and another day of shooting True Mad North's performance videos. 'BIG' Auditions07/20/2010 When you get a BIG audition, it can be a BIG problem. I just like to think of it as an indication I'm in the right flow. Book it or not, I already made the cut by getting called in. Keep at it. Because that's how it works. It was for a national commercial, and it felt good. Life On Lexington07/18/2010 Shot with writer/director Erin Coker yesterday on her short film 'Life on Lexington'. I play a sleazy club manager. What? While my scene was shot in a cramped back office, the finale dance scene was shot on the stage at the DNA Lounge in SOMA. Capped it with an evening seeing local rockers The Murderachis. |
